Getting Old Sucks!

August 16th, 2006 — 5:43pm

I received an email that I though was funny (thanks Angela, sorry Andrew you were actually too late). I thought it’d be fun to post since my birthday is coming up this saturday.

I think the life cycle is all backwards.
You should start out dead; just get it right out of the way.
You wake up in a senior care facility and start feeling better every day.
You get kicked out of there for being too healthy, go collect your pension, then, when you start work, you get a gold watch on your first day.
You work 40 years until you’re young enough to enjoy your retirement.
You drink alcohol, you party, you’re “generally” promiscuous and you get ready for High School.
After High School, you go to primary school, you become a kid, you play or nap all day, you have no responsibilities.
You become a baby with no cares whatsoever.
Then, you spend your last 9 months floating peacefully with luxuries Like central heating, spa treatments, room service on tap, larger living quarters everyday…and then…
you finish off as an orgasm!
It would have to be better that way … because this getting old …
just sucks!

Published in O’Reily’s Google Maps Hacks

August 2nd, 2006 — 11:27am

There was a time when I used Google Maps to beat the NYC Traffic system. All of you that know me have heard this story before and if you haven’t there’s a link below to the original story that gave me Internet fame for 2 weeks. I was on Satelitte radio, podcasts, and blogged about for a few glorious weeks. Just as I thought I could never reclaim this famed glory (umm, by the way I have an album coming out in Oct :P), I get a pleasant surprise that my story was published on O’Reily’s new book on Google Map Hacks. Here’s a link to the covering story on Gear Live. Thanks Andru!
