EDIT: That’s yearly by the way.

I love you son.

Seems like a long title for this post, right? I mean, I could have said something like: ‘Install Broadcom on Ubuntu’ or ‘How to get your Acer Aspire’s Modem to work’ All seem like great choices.

In all actuality, I wanted to call this post: “How not to slam your head through a window while you are locked in your basement trying to get your stupid wireless Internet working on an operating system you know nothing about but it’s too late because you already backed up and uninstalled Windows and you can’t find your installation CD while your wife is almost ready to kill you for being 12+ hours a day in the basement while your kid is driving her crazy”

So as you can see, I decided to take the ‘high’ road by just giving it just about everything I googled to get this to work. I hope that some Ubuntu noob, like me, is reading this right now and preparing to thank me in 15 minutes when he has wireless internet.
