If you haven’t heard of this Book/Bible/Knowledge giving ideology, you’d better run to your nearest bookstore and pick it up. “The Gospel..” is a fantastic poke at religion, evolution, and intelligent design. I haven’t even finished it yet and I’m raving at how funny it is. Those who take religion too seriously should probably stay away. Those of us with an easier going sense of humor about why we are here want to have fun.

The book comes about a controversial court decision whereby the Kansas School board has allowed Intelligent Design to be taught in conjunction with Evolution. The author, Bobby Henderson, took it upon himself to introduce an alternative theory for Intelligent Design - The Flying Spaghetti Monster.

For once, I have a great reason to tag an entry as “Super Dad.” and it’s not in anyway related to EJ. George Budabin died from lung cancer this past week. There are truly no words that can describe this loss of a fabulous human being. I visited Andru’s family this Holiday weekend where I learned that he was loved and remembered by so many. I finally felt a hint of closure for myself knowing that his wife and children were remembering him so fondly with family and friends alike. Andru tells us a little bit of what it was like being adopted by such a loving family and a wonderful Dad. George you are remembered. God Bless.

My fears over the last few months have been realized: My ProTools Drive is dead. I no longer have access to my old sessions for music. All my MP3’s are gone. Alas, I have a new motivation to start work on a new album. I’ve had to try and turn a lot of negative energy in my life into a positive force. This approach should be interesting. I just wish I had a backup of my backup before it died. Alas, there’s always the crap up on my MySpace. I’ll put some more tunes up as they come. Sorry for the serious tone. I just haven’t been in the most joyful mood the past few weeks. They tell me I wasn’t that funny anyway.
