Ubuntero

It’s almost official now - I’m quite excited to see how people will respond to the Beta project of this. We’ve been working on this for about 4 months now and we hope that the Ubuntu community likes our efforts, because this is for them.

This is Ubuntero.com, a social network for Ubuntu users, developers, and fans. Check out the latest Ubuntero News or check out what people are saying right now?

Find others with similar interests and goals. Add your interests by editing your profile.

Here are some real Ubuntero user profiles: Edwin Soto, Oscar M. Cantu, Sipes

You can make up a profile and set up all sorts of little widgets to customize your page. Blog from you cell phone, email or whatever. Have a friend on there? You can subscribe the their RSS feeds for their blogs or their RSS feeds for their files that are uploaded. Personally I’m a big FaceBook fan so I put up my badge and I’ll probably include my last.fm data ( I love sharing the music I listen to). I’m excited to see what others will do.

Ubuntero.com will not be spoiled by anyone

September 3rd, 2007 — 12:41am

*This post was removed at the request of Paladine.

I find no reason to let opinions on this personal blog get in the way of the spirit of the reason why Ubuntero was created. There is no need for me to keep the original content of this post if it intends to disrespect anyone.

If there are any questions, feel free to leave it in the comments section. Additionally, out of the original five comments I have also removed one of mine - leave four comments, in tact.
