I just might like computers/technology

This picture (my stumble upon settings) made me realize I may be a tiny bit geeky:

So I lied a little…

I couldn’t stand seeing the site in sandbox mode - so I decided to work on it OFFLINE.  Hope you like the new theme: its pretty nice and simple. The link for this theme (Blass) is on the bottom of the site.

What’s in the Apple iPhone 2.2 Update Anyway?

November 22nd, 2008 — 4:44pm

I truly didn’t know what was in the update and was a bit out of the blogophere, but here’s what iTunes conviniently gave me:

iPhone 2.2 Software Update

This update contains many bug fixes and improvements, including the following:

• Enhancements to Maps
   - Google Street View
   - public transit and walking directions
   - display address of dropped pins
   - share location via email

• Enhancements to Mail
   - resolved isolated issues with scheduled fetching  of email
   - improved formatting of wide HTML email

• Improved stability and performance of Safari

• Podcasts are now available for download in iTunes application (over Wi-Fi and cellular network)

• Decrease in call set-up failures and call drops

• Improved sound quality of visual voicemail messages

• Pressing the Home button from any Home screen takes you to the first Home screen

• Preference to turn on/off auto-correction in Keyboard  Settings

Products compatible with this software update:

• iPhone

• iPhone 3G

Some of these are “convinient” but others are WOW - I’ll finally get the share location via email, and finally get to get podcasts over the air.  These are pretty sweet.

AHH This site is Sandboxed!

November 17th, 2008 — 2:02pm

I just changed my theme to a sandbox theme that I will be modifying from time to time.  I got this idea from Ken, who I ‘think’ is still doing this?

So if you visit the site from time to time and see it change, I’m probably working on it!  I encourage you to use RSS anyway, and if you don’t know what RSS is check out this very cool video describing how to use RSS:
