Everyone’s seen Eve’s Beach Fantasy right?

I couldn’t help but to sift through netflix’s instant queue (under the Stars network) and look up movies that I would love or hate.  I fount this gem (Eve’s beach fantasy) and started to read some of the reviews.  I read this one review that just had me rolling and thinking back to the days of Skinemax and those late night movies:

Im not going to pretend like I watched this for the plot. I wanted to watch a softcore porn and do what nature intended for me to do while I watched it. That said, this is one to pass up. Its one of those romantic soft core porns where the music covers the sound of sex. Why do people do that? Its like replacing the gunfire sounds in Saving Private Ryan with farting. And every sex scene is all in slow motion and shows close-ups of unnecessary body parts. One time they showed the girls knee. Oh yeah, bend it baby. But as softcore porns go, pass this one up. Its un-erotic and just a waste of your time.

After reading that, I almost want to watch it in a group accompanied by a drinking game. Feel free to add the rules of said drinking game in the comments section.

If you’re interested in more hilarious reviews of this movie check it out.

It better be f**king magical

I’m excited to get on the road this Friday to my first ever trip to Disney. This actually would be the first time I’ll be in Florida for more than just a layover. This will be our first real family vacation without any hidden agendas. Just out to have some fun. We’ll be driving from Pennsylvania to Florida with some good friends. I’ve been told that adults end up becoming children there in sunny Orlando, so it’s something to look forward to. Here are some of the activities that we have planned:

  • Midnight stop over at South of the Border (Dillon, SC)
  • 7 day passes to the parks
  • Birthday dinner for EJ at the T-Rex cafe.
  • Possible Mets spring training game for EJ’s birthday.

There are probably some others that I’m forgetting (our wives are doing most of the planning!)

Any suggestions out there?

Check out the Music Section

While I keep planning this ‘massively delicious’ landing page on edwinsoto.net – I thought it’d be fun to include some neat things right here in this blog.

In the My Music section of this site, I’ve now included embedded players where you can listen to the 2009 smash hit best selling album “It was all a dream” as well as Last Falls “Best cover of the month” “Papparazzi (Lady Gaga Cover)”

I plan on sifting through some of my old music that I created and I may end up throwing it all in there.

Thoughts?

Spring Cleaning: Whether I like it or not

I hate to admit defeat.  The old blog went kaput only a few days after I declared how I wanted to blog again.

For the technically interested only (others may skip this part):

I had to upgrade my SQL Database from version 4 to 5 in order to support the latest version of WordPress.  In doing so, I had to migrate my database but for whatever reason, after installing WordPress, the access panel could not be found. Hence, I can’t export, import, unport, deport any data anywhere. But for whatever it’s worth, I kept a copy of the database. And who knows? maybe I will feel very inclined one day to import all that data back manually with some php or sql statement magic.

So at this point I will start fresh: did you notice the new blog url? (blog.edwinsoto.net). I figure I may end up making a landing page with “all things Edwin” of some kind for www.edwinsoto.net

Sorry for the confusion and broken links in the old blog (which will be taken down). Techies, update your RSS readers, tweet/facebook/share this post to others that may not know how to look for it.

I plan to have an actual post with some content.

Soooo much work to redo. I’m taking the opportunity to make some improvements for myself and you guys (the readers).

Thanks for your loyalty?!

Peace out!
